We close this year’s festival with an immersive, heartfelt, and thought-provoking concert that shows how song can build bridges and dissolve the distance between people.

Organist and composer Nils Henrik Asheim has curated a program that brings together three remarkable vocalists with roots in different cultures. Ghawgha, Reshail Mansoor, and Mariama Ndure all live in Norway, but perform songs partly drawn from their own traditions, partly written by themselves.

The Drammen Chamber Choir joins to create a rich sonic foundation, together with Anja Lauvdal and Nils Henrik Asheim on organ and keyboard instruments.
