Throughout 2026, we have collaborated closely with Amnesty International Norway. Through various concerts, we have highlighted themes from their human rights work. This evening is dedicated entirely to this collaboration. Our contribution is the musical one. We draw inspiration from the classical symphony, structuring the concert as a movement in four parts. We begin by sketching a landscape. This is followed by a calmer section, bringing us closer to the human element. Then it opens up again, with more movement and energy. Finally, the music points forward—towards action and hope. With a special focus on women's rights this evening, it is only natural to let the voices of Katarina Barruk and Ghawgha Taban carry much of what we wish to convey.
